The Atlantic Balloon Fiesta
The largest hot air balloon festival in Atlantic Canada is held each summer
in Sussex. That weekend Sussex is host to up to 30,000 visitors. It is not
just hot air balloons that bring these people to Sussex; there is something
for everyone at the festival, including a giant craft fair. The Fiesta will
be held September 10th - 12th, 2004. More information will follow. Please

Kings County Agricultural Fair
The 106th Annual Kings County Agricultural Fair at Princess Louise Park Show
Centre, Sussex, will be held in August. A schedule will be released as the
event grows near.
N.B. Antique Auto Club Inc.
Annual Giant Flea Market
This annual event held the 3rd weekend in August. Last year there were over
750 vendors on the Princess Louise Park grounds and inside the various buildings
located here. This event draws people from near and far, and everyone leaves
with a smile.

Annual Harvest Day Activities
The Agricultural Museum of New Brunswick will hold its annual Harvest
Day activities in September in Sussex.
This end-of-summer event provides a full day of demonstrations of how the harvest was brought in on New Brunswick farms in years gone by. Grain threshing, turnip pulping and honey extraction are only some of the events that usually take place.

New Brunswick Day Activities
New Brunswick Day in Sussex consists of many activities such as a free splash party at the Kiwanis Town Pool, a free BBQ with hotdogs and drinks.
Entertainment is provided as well with an open stage with local entertainers. Bring your own instruments and voices and join in the fun - try the kareoke machine. All welcome.
